Abstract

The invention discloses a performance test device for a mine roof reinforcement material and a use method thereof. The performance test device comprises a roadway system, a supporting plate system, a confining pressure loading system and an axial pressure loading system, wherein the roadway system comprises a shell and an inner cavity surrounded by the shell; the supporting plate system is provided with a supporting plate, the supporting plate takes the shape of an arched surface consistent with an actual roof in shape, and the supporting plate system is arranged at the lower part of the inner cavity; the confining pressure loading system is provided with a telescopic confining pressure plate and is enclosed at the side wall of the inner cavity; the axial pressure loading system is provided with an axial pressure plate and is arranged at the upper part of the inner cavity, and the inner cavity, the supporting plate, the confining pressure plate and the axial pressure plate are enclosed to form a filling space of the reinforcement material. According to the performance test device disclosed by the invention, the shape of the filling space fully simulates the practical situations of the site roof; through applying confining pressure and axial pressure, the real ground stress environment of an underground coal seam reinforcement roof is stimulated, therefore, the true compressive performance of a test block is tested, and the situation that as the ground stress problem is ignored, the reasonable evaluation on the reinforcement material cannot be made is avoided.
