Abstract

The ecological protection system comprises a first protection device and a second protection device, wherein the first protection device is arranged in a drainage channel between a roadbed and the slope and composed of a plurality of gabion net cages which are filled with stone and sequentially arranged in the longitudinal extending direction of the drainage channel; and the second protection device is fixedly arranged above the first protection device and composed of a plurality of gabion columns and gabion walls used for connecting every two adjacent gabion columns, and the gabion columns are connected with anchor rods partially inserted into the slope, so that the first protection device and the second protection device are flexibly connected with the slope. The invention further discloses an ecological protection method for the high-intensity frigid mountain road cutting steep slope.
