Abstract

A baseplate management control system is applicable to supervision of running situations of a computer system, comprises a random access storage device as well as a baseplate management controller which comprises a processing unit and a monitoring unit, and executes a baseplate management control method. The processing unit is operated between a normal mode and an abnormal mode and generates an update signal which indicates a current operation mode. When the processing unit is operated under the normal mode, the processing unit can store a parameter material which is related to the running situations of the baseplate management controller in the random access storage device. The monitoring unit can generate a resetting signal according to the update signal when the monitoring unit judges that the processing unit is operated under the abnormal mode. The processing unit also decides whether restarting is needed according to the resetting signal, and transmits the parameter material to another electronic device after the restarting.
