Abstract

The invention discloses a broadband polarization reconfigurable antenna which comprises four antenna units, four switches corresponding to the antenna units one to one, two 90-degree phase shifters and a one-in-four equivalent amplitude and equivalent phase power distributor, wherein each antenna unit designs an extended band width by adopting a resonance cavity and a parasitic patch structure, and each antenna unit comprises two diagonal feed ports; the feed ports of two ends of each antenna unit are connected with the switches through a finite grounding coplanar waveguide transmission line to a micro-strip line; and four branches of the one-in-four equivalent amplitude and equivalent phase power distributor are connected with the switches respectively and controlled by the switches to respectively feed to one of the two ports of the four antenna units. Change of the states of the switches means change of input ports of the antenna units, so that the phases of the antenna units are changed, and four different polarization waves can be formed to realize the broadband polarization reconfigurable antenna.
