The method comprises the steps of receiving a command of uploading a file to a server, obtaining a to-be-uploaded file, and partitioning the file according to a formula Y=N-X*(n-1) until Y is less than X, wherein N is a set fixed partitioning value, X is a set progressive decrease value, n is the current partitioning times; uploading the partitions one by one, detecting whether the uploading is successful, if the situation that all partitions are uploaded successfully, is detected, ending; otherwise partitioning again and uploading the parts of the file that are not uploaded successfully according to the above formula until all of the file is uploaded successfully.
