Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method and device of configuration modification. The method of configuration modification applied to a BIOS (basic input output system) update system comprises: obtaining a correct batch modification operation instruction for the BIOS configuration of at least one online server according to the BIOS configuration information of the at least one online server stored in a BIOS update system database in advance; and correspondingly issuing the batch modification operation instruction to the BIOS configuration interface of the at least one online server. The method of configuration modification applied to a server comprises: the basic input output system (BIOS) configuration interface of the at least online server correspondingly receives the batch modification operation instruction issued by the BIOS update system; and the BIOS configuration is correspondingly modified according to the batch modification operation instruction. The method and device of configuration modification disclosed by the embodiment of the invention realize the batch modification of the BIOS configuration of online servers.
