Abstract

A side end of the lower pressing block is connected to a connecting portion of an arc-striking rod, and the lower pressing block is connected to an insulator. The lower end of the insulator is provided with a lower steel pin. The lower end of the arc-striking rod is close to the lower steel pin. The arc-striking rod is in coupling with the lower pressing block. A side end of the lower pressing block is provided with a semispherical convex portion. A connection portion of the arc-striking rod is provided with a correspondingly formed semispherical concave portion. A rotating shaft passes through the convex portion to be embedded in shaft holes in the two sides of the concave portion. A shaft portion outside of the upper portion of the lower pressing block is provided with a space-limiting nut which is abutted against the arc-striking rod. The dual-mode distance-adjusting lightning protection line column-type composite insulator of the invention has advantages that the axial and radial distances between the arc-striking rod and a grounding end contact can be adjusted, therefore, the insulator can be adapted to different discharge distance requirements; and in addition, a puncture clip and an electric wire metal form partial surface contact, thereby increasing a contact area and ensuring the reliability of electrical connection.
