The system comprises a cloud system, at least one intelligent terminal and at least one haze removal framework, wherein the haze removal framework is mounted at a roof of a motor vehicle and is used for purifying air containing PM2.5 pollutants; the intelligent terminal(s) is / are used for controlling the haze removal framework to filter the air and calculating a haze removal amount; and the cloud system is used for sending information to the intelligent terminal(s), receiving information of the intelligent terminal(s) and making statistics. The system and the method can realize the functions of sustainable mobile haze removal, haze removal through a city and real-time haze removal. With adoption of the haze removal system, the problem of serious outdoor haze can be effectively solved, and especially, the problem of haze caused by automobile exhaust and road dust is solved; and meanwhile, energy does not need to be supplied for the system, so that secondary pollution is not caused.
