Abstract

One embodiment of the invention provides a method for copying text and a mobile terminal. The method comprises following steps: if a copying operation is detected, obtaining text content selected by the copying operation; displaying the text content in an operation area as multiple sub-text blocks which are mutually separated; if an editing operation on at least one sub-text block in the multiple sub-text blocks is detected, obtaining a target text to be pasted according to the editing operation. In this way, through dividing a text content to be copied into multiple respectively editable sub-text blocks, users can obtain text content to be pasted through editing operation on the sub-text blocks so as to lower the frequency of copying operations. The method is a convenient text copying method.
