The home environment monitoring instrument comprises an air detection module, a domestic water detection module, and a pesticide residue detection module, and the air detection module, the domestic water detection module, and the pesticide residue detection module transmit detected data information to a main control module; the main control module processes the received data information and afterwards displays the data through a display module; the main control module transmits the processed data to environment purifying equipment, a data access terminal and a cloud server background system separately through a data transmission/receiving module; the cloud server background system sends control information to the data access terminal and the environment purifying equipment separately according to the received data, the data access terminal achieves IP manual control over the environment purifying equipment according to the received control information, and the environment purifying equipment achieves IP automatic control according to the received control information; the main control module transmits an equipment starting control signal to the cloud server background system through the data transmission/receiving module, and the cloud server background system controls starting of the environment purifying equipment. In the home environment monitoring instrument, indoor environment quality can be truly reflected.
