Abstract

The invention provides a transmission type polarized transition super surface, which belongs to the technical field of microwave frequency range electromagnetic wave regulation and control. The polarized super surface unit comprises three layers of metal pasters, with a medium substrate being disposed between two layers of metal pasters, and the top layer of metal paster and bottom layer of metalpaster having the same structure. Through reasonably designing the structure size of the top layer, the middle layer and the bottom layer of metal pasters, the incident linear polarization electromagnetic wave passes through the super surface structure and then continues to transmit. The transmitting electromagnetic wave has the equal electric field amplitude in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, and the phase difference is 90 degree between the horizontal direction and the vertical direction, and thereby the transmitting electromagnetic wave has the feature of circular polarization. The invention is advantageous in that the transmission type circular polarization super surface has wide broadband, ultrathin surface, simple structure, and low cost; the polarized state of the electromagnetic wave can be flexibly controlled; wide application prospect is provided in fields like antennas, imaging, communication systems, electromagnetic confrontation and military stealth.
