Abstract

The invention provides an OpenSSL-based QAT performance comparison method and system. The method comprises the steps of installing a QAT driver, OpenSSL and qat-engine; loading USDM; running lsmod; checking whether the USDM component is successfully loaded or not; creating a qat-engine environment of the OpenSSL; and comparing algorithm speeds of the qat-engine and the OpenSSL to obtain performance comparison data. QAT and SW are loaded for verifying the speed of the same encryption algorithm; the operation is simple; the test manpower is reduced; a test result is simple and clear; an obtainedconclusion can serve as data support of QAT technology promotion and reference for measuring the technical development quality by test personnel; and the test systems and dimensions of the QAT are enriched.
