According to the method and system for starting and performing the skill of the virtual idol, the virtual idol starts and performs the skill by using multimodal interactive input, the virtual idol can present the more realistic, stereoscopic and three-dimensional effects through holographic projection equipment, the cooperation of five sense organs, facial expressions and body movements of the virtual idol when the system and the user conduct multimodal interaction is more coordinated and realistic, and the user experience effect is good.
