Abstract

The invention discloses user equipment and a network search method and device thereof. The method comprises the steps of detecting whether an IP multimedia subsystem is registered successfully or notin a preset time period, and whether the user equipment has a voice capacity or not when the user equipment registers with a new radio network; searching or selecting a network in support of a CS (Circuit Switched) voice if it is detected that the IP multimedia subsystem is not registered successfully in the preset time period and the user equipment has the voice capacity; and residing in the network in support of the CS voice if the network in support of the CS voice is found. Through application of the scheme provided by the invention, when the user equipment with the voice capacity registers the IP multimedia subsystem with the new radio network unsuccessfully, CS voice service still can be provided for a user through the user equipment.
