Abstract

The invention provides an intelligent gateway for an SIP terminal to access an ONVIF monitoring device. The intelligent gateway comprises an SIP module, an SIP and ONVIF conversion module, an ONVIF module and a streaming media forwarding module. The SIP module is responsible for interacting with the SIP terminal. The SIP and ONVIF conversion module is responsible for converting SIP information andinformation (SOAP and RTSP) used in the ONVIF. The ONVIF module is responsible for interacting with the ONVIF monitoring device. The streaming media forwarding module is responsible for receiving media streams from the ONVIF monitoring device, and forwarding the media streams to the corresponding SIP terminal according to a corresponding stream quotation relation. Through mutual cooperation of the four modules, the SIP terminal is enabled to access the media streams of the ONVIF monitoring device. The intelligent gateway is advantaged by low threshold, wide covering range, high timeliness, network-based performance and economical and practical performance.
