The method comprises the following steps: acquiring target user information input by a current user and corresponding target voiceprint feature information; prompting the current user to perform service option by a voice, and monitoring whether the current user speaks or not; when the detected current user talks, acquiring a current audio of the current user, and extracting the current voiceprint feature information from the current audio; and comparing the similaritybetween the current voiceprint feature information and the target voiceprint feature information, and verifying the identity of the current user based on a comparison result. Based on voiceprint recognition, the user is prompted by the voice during the service operation to create a communication atmosphere to enable the user to speak subconsciously, thereby completing the voiceprint authentication; the authentication process is not perceived, thereby avoiding the dislike of the user caused by portrait infringement and enhancing the user experience; and the identity authentication can be completed only during the service operation of the user, so that no extra time is required, and the authentication efficiency is high.
