Abstract

The invention provides a community detection method and device for a heterogeneous dynamic information network. Community detection is carried out on the dynamic heterogeneous information network constructed by data crawled from the network. The device comprises a dynamic network generation module, a basic network community detection module, a dynamic community detection module and a community structure updating module based on increment. The method comprises the steps that a basic network and an incremental sequence are established for data to be researched, the basic network is a multi-pathnetwork, a community structure is detected for each layer of network, then a consistent graph is constructed, and the community structure in the consistent graph is detected; and a community structureupdating strategy is set for four increment types of node addition and deletion, simultaneous generation and simultaneous disappearance, and a community structure for an increment sequence generatedin the network is updated according to the updating strategy.
