The method comprises the steps: recording BMC IPs of HOST and BOXinto variables, wherein the BMC IPs are used for remotely controlling or judging startup and shutdown of HOST and BOX through a preset ipmitool command according to BMC IP addresses; utilizing the loop statement and calling a preset ipmitool command script to respectively send startup commands to the HOST and the BOX, judging whether startup succeeds or not, respectively recording the startup time of the HOST and the BOX after startup succeeds, and if both the HOST and the BOX are successfully started, exiting the loop; calling a preset ipmitool command to send a shutdown command to the HOST,judging whether shutdown succeeds or not, continuing to judge whether the BOX is successfully shut down or not after shutdown succeeds, and recording the shutdown time of the BOX if shutdown succeeds.
