The method comprises the following steps: step 1, selecting transformer districts which cannot maintain normal voltage amplitude of a low-voltage side fromthe transformer districts in grid-connected operation, and comparing and analyzing voltage regulation modes and control strategies of the transformer districts to obtain a wide-width voltage regulation distribution transformer meeting requirements; step 2, by researching a control strategy of the wide-width voltage-regulating distribution transformer, adding a corresponding unit on a functional module, thereby realizing self-adaptive control of the distribution transformer and automatic treatment of low voltage; step 3, enabling the wide-width voltage-regulating distribution transformer to have self-adaptive operational capability by designing the wide-width voltage-regulating distribution transformer and optimizing a control strategy; and step 4, screening and optimizing a self-adaptivecontrol module through PSCAD-based simulation modeling and full-working-condition fault analysis, thereby improving the low-voltage governance capability of the low-voltage transformer area in the distribution network.
