The microplate reader comprises a microplate reader body and a display arranged on the microplate reader body, a detection cavity is formed in the microplate reader body, an ELISA plate inlet and an ELISA plate outlet are formed in the two ends of the detection cavity respectively, and opening covers are arranged in theELISA plate inlet and the ELISA plate outlet respectively. A pushing device used for supporting and pushing an ELISA plate is arranged at the ELISA plate inlet in the detection cavity, a pushing device used for pushing the ELISA plate out is arranged at ELISA plate outlet of the detection cavity, and an ELISA plate conveying device used for clamping and conveying the ELISA plate is further arranged in the detection cavity. The microplate reader further comprises a multi-channel detection device for detecting a sample on the ELISA.
