Abstract

The water chiller includes a two-stage compressor, a condenser, a flasher and an evaporator. There is an air supply pipe between the flasher and the two-stage compressor. The outlet of the air supply pipe is connected to the first-stage impeller and the second-stage impeller of the two-stage compressor. Between the stage impellers, a regulating valve is set in the air supply pipe; and a first pressure sensor is set in the condenser, a second pressure sensor is set in the evaporator, and a third pressure sensor is set in the flasher. During the normal operation of the unit, the regulating valve is controlled by comparing the flash pressure and the intermediate pressure. If the flash pressure is less than or equal to the intermediate pressure, the regulating valve is closed to reduce the amount of air supply. If the flash pressure is greater than the intermediate pressure, the regulating valve is opened to increase.
