Abstract

The invention provides a method for processing discarded messages. The method comprises the steps of obtaining discarded messages; determining a corresponding packet loss type according to class IDs of the discarded messages; and if the discarded messages are ultra-bandwidth lost packets, redirecting the discarded messages to a standby port for forwarding according to the class IDs. Packet loss types of the discarded messages are determined according to cass-ID, namely, the reasons of the discarded messages are determined, and if the discarded messages are subjected to ultra-bandwidth packet loss, the discarded messages are subjected to secondary processing, namely, the discarded messages are redirected to the standby port to be forwarded. The bandwidth pressure of the current environmentcan be relieved, and real-time performance of key data can also be ensured. The current bandwidth occupation mode can be improved, so that the current data message forwarding environment is freer andmore flexible.
