Abstract

The invention discloses an intelligent virtual reference frame generation method, which comprises the following steps of: learning a parallax relationship by utilizing an alignment step based on viewpoint synthesis for the characteristics of a time domain virtual reference frame and an inter-viewpoint reference frame, aligning the inter-viewpoint reference frame with the time domain virtual reference frame according to the parallax relationship, generating an offset inter-viewpoint reference frame; fusing complementary information between the time domain virtual reference frame and the offset inter-viewpoint reference frame to generate a high-quality virtual reference frame; constructing a virtual reference frame generation network based on viewpoint synthesis, and constraining the training of the generation network by using two MSE loss functions. According to the invention, a high-quality reference is provided for the current coding frame, so that the prediction accuracy is improved, and the coding efficiency is improved.
