The invention provides a ring main unit cable terminal partial discharge on-line monitoring device and method. The device comprises an ultrasonic signal acquisition module, a temperature acquisition module, a data analysis module and a display module. The data analysis module is used for acquiring the temperature data of the cable terminal of the ring main unit from the temperature acquisition module; the temperature data comprises inter-phase temperature difference data and single-phase temperature data; and judging whether data greater than a preset threshold exists in the temperature data, and if so, sending a first warning message or a second warning message. Acquiring an ultrasonic signal of the ring main unit cable terminal from an ultrasonic signal acquisition module; and judging whether an ultrasonic signal of which the ultrasonic intensity is greater than a preset threshold exists in the ultrasonic signals, and if so, sending a first warning message or a second warning message.
