Abstract

Mobile handsets with location computing. In order to extend the area in which a mobile handset can determine its position using radio waves, the present invention provides a mobile handset equipped with a device for calculating its position using radio waves transmitted from GPS satellites and using a base station of a cellular communication system A device that calculates the position of an incoming RF carrier wave.
