Benefits of technology

The present disclosure provides a structure of a rotating bar with enhanced insulation performance. The rotating bar can seal gaps between a body and doors, as well as between individual doors. The structure includes a case, a heat insulation member, a metallic plate, a heat generating member, and an insertion protrusion. The rotating bar can be rotated perpendicular or parallel to the doors and can enter a guide groove to seal the gap. This prevents incomplete closing of the doors due to an erroneous operation of the rotating bar and improves the heat insulation efficiency of the storage compartment.

Problems solved by technology

However, with respect to the FDR-type refrigerator, the refrigerating compartment at the upper side is open and closed by a pair of doors, but the refrigerating compartment is not provided therein with a vertical partition, and thus a gap formed between the pair of doors may not be sealed by the gasket.
