The invention provides a method for processing a hanging metallic chain link fence for marine anti-pollution tests and a method for tying the hanging metallic chain link fence. In the methods, pentatrico-peptide-repeats (PPR) pipes, cables and the metallic chain link fence are used. The invention is characterized in that: steel cables are arranged at the periphery of the square-shaped metallic chain link fence with the size of 0.50m*0.50m; the outer side at the upper end of the metallic chain link fence is tied with a PPR pipe; a high-strength eight-strand fishing polythene cable of which thediameter is 14mm and the length is 6.7m passes through the PPR pipe, both ends of the cable are tightened and aligned, and then tied to net cage floating pipes, the linear distance between two tying points is 0.5m, and the lengths of the cables between the tying points of the net cage floating pipe and the axial line of the PPR pipe are 1.5m; and one end of the high-strength eight-strand fishing polythene cable with the diameter of 16mm and the length of 4.0m passes through and encircles the PPR pipe, the steel cable and the metallic chain link fence from the center point of the PPR pipe and then forms an eye splice, and the other end of the high-strength eight-strand fishing polythene cable with the diameter of 16mm is tied to the net cage floating pipe.
