A method for realizing magnetic stripe card transaction by means of IC card is used to read data from IC card or to complete transaction between a terminal integrated with IC card read capacity and a transaction processing system. The method includes the following steps: (1) a cipher key file which stores cipher key information is set in an IC card for use only and can not be read out; (2) during each transaction, the IC card generates a dynamic process cipher key according to a preset method and returns the sensitive information containing magnetic stripe information and encrypted by the process cipher key to a terminal; (3) the terminal organizes transaction request message and transmits the message to a transaction processing subsystem; (4) after receiving the transaction request message, the transaction processing subsystem completes decipherment and processing of the magnetic stripe information and returns transaction processing result to the terminal.
