Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus for bobbin removal in a winding machine, which apparatus has a winding spindle (2.1) which is held in a projecting fashion and serves to wind at least one bobbin (3). The apparatus comprises a plurality of pivot arms (4.1, 4.2) which each have a free plug-on end and an opposite retaining end. The pivot arms are held on a pivot shaft (5) by the retaining ends and at least one of the pivot arms is held such that it is aligned with the winding spindle of the winding machine in order to remove the bobbin into a removal position. In order to be able to replace the bobbin in the tightest possible space, the invention proposes orienting the pivot shaft horizontally. In this case, the pivot arms are guided in a vertically oriented guide plane.
