Abstract

The invention discloses a backlight module and a liquid crystal display comprising the backlight module. The backlight module at least comprises a backboard, at least one light source, at least two supporting frameworks and at least one optical film, wherein the backboard at least comprises a base plate and a plurality of lateral plates surrounding the edge of the base plate; at least one light source is arranged on the backboard; at least two supporting frameworks are arranged on two relative sides of the backboard respectively; at least one optical film is arranged on the light source, and the optical film is provided with at least two fixed hole respectively corresponding to the supporting frameworks; and the supporting frameworks are inserted into the fixed holes respectively so as toprovide at least one pair of tensile force for the optical film.
