Abstract

The invention discloses a tool for rapidly and securely updating an intelligent mobile phone operating system. The tool packages image files at a Window Mobile side and a Qualcomm MSM6280 side into a file, then a standard USB cable and a tool at a computer side are used for writing image files in a respective memory cell through accesses at the two ends. The tool has the advantages that the whole process is completely and automatically completed, and manual intervention of a user is not required; key data can be stored during the updating process, and even if unexpected power failure occurs, the data can be recovered after reset; the tool at the computer side is simple, and the user is only required to click start after selecting files; upgrading is flexible, and the updating of the files at the both sides is flexible; and the whole upgrading process is rapid, and a 120M file can be completed within only 7 to 8 minutes, therefore, the communication is more rapid, and the growing living demands of people are satisfied.
