The liquid crystal display device adopts the alignment films with the alignment angles of 0 degree and imposes voltage on the alignment electrode arranged on the color film substrate to generate an even alignment state of the liquid crystal with the initial alignment angle of 2 degrees-4 degrees, thereby improving the uniformity of the initial alignment state of the liquid crystal, not causing the differences in phase delay of transmitted light of all the regions in the transverse electric field mode, thus reducing the light leakage defect and improving the contrast.
