Synergistically enhanced disinfecting solutions comprising sodium chlorite in the range of about 10ppm to about 5000ppm and myristamidopropyl dimethylamine in the range of about 0.05ppm to about 500ppm for. In addition, synergistically enhanced disinfecting solutions comprising myristamidopropyl dimethylamine in the range of 0.05ppm to 500ppm and polyhexamethylene biguanide in the range of about 0.01ppm to about 100ppm for.
