Embodiment Construction

[0036] The present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, but the scope of the present invention is not limited in any way.

[0037] The schematic diagram of the high-speed PON network structure based on OFDM technology proposed by the present invention is as follows: figure 1 and figure 2 shown. figure 1 Shown is an OFDM-PON tree network, figure 2 Shown is an OFDM-PON ring network. The OFDM-PON network consists of OLT and various heterogeneous ONUs. like figure 1 and figure 2 In the OFDM-PON shown, the total bandwidth of the network is divided into several mutually orthogonal sub-carriers, and each sub-carrier can be divided into N sub-frequency bands. In this way, the OLT can dynamically allocate multiple sub-carriers or 0-N frequency bands in one sub-carrier (assuming that one sub-carrier can be divided into N sub-frequency bands at most) to an ONU. These sub-carriers / frequency bands constitute a "transparent" da...

Abstract

The invention discloses an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) passive optical network (PON), belonging to the technical field of optical communication. The network of the invention comprises an optical line terminal (OLT) and an optical network unit (ONU), wherein, the OLT is connected with the ONU in an annular networking manner or a tree networking manner. The network is characterized by sequentially connecting a photoelectric conversion module, an OLT digital signal uplink processing module and an optical transmission module, and an OLT control module is connected with the OLT digital signal uplink processing module to form an uplink module of the OLT; and meanwhile, the uplink module of the OLT further comprises a power divider, an optical multiplexer and an OLT analog signal uplink processing module, wherein, the OLT analog signal uplink processing module is connected with the OLT digital signal uplink processing module in parallel by the power divider and the optical multiplexer unit for processing various business data. The passive optical network has the characteristics of low cost, high flexibility and good transmission performance.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of optical communication, and relates to a passive optical network (Passive optical network, PON) based on Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). Background technique [0002] Human society in the 21st century has entered into an information society, and informatization, digitization, globalization, and networking are the most important features of an information society. As the main carrier of the information society, the communication network is one of the most important infrastructures of the country and the world. The rapid development of IP-based data services and the continuous emergence of new network applications and services lead to a sharp increase in network traffic. With the rapid development of the Internet and people's demand for multimedia information, the global broadband access network has entered a stage of great development. According to Point-Topic's statistics, the total gl...
