The system comprises a subscriber terminal, a short message processing device and a mail processing device, wherein the subscriber terminal is used for editing the short message for sending the mail to send the short message to 'an access code of short message mail sending service and a mail address of a receiver', or receiving the short message converted by the replied mail; the short message processing device is used for recognizing the short message for sending the mail according to the access code and extracting the mail address and a short message content of the receiver from the short message to send the mail address and the short message content of thereceiver to the mail processing device, or receiving the replied mail to convert the replied mail into the short message and send the short message to the subscriber terminal; and the mail processingdevice is used for converting the short message for sending the mail into an E-mail to send the E-mail to the mail address of the receiver, or sending the replied mail of the receiver to the short message processing device.
