Abstract

In the invention, through expanding a system information block and carrying the multi-carrier information of the aggregatable carrier in the expanded system information block, an LTE-A (Long Term Evolution-Advanced) terminal acquires whether the base station supports the carrier aggregation technique or not after acquiring the system information; when the base station supports the carrier aggregation technique, the business requiring the support of the carrier aggregation technique is applied to the base station, and thereby, larger used bandwidth and higher peek rate are obtained; and thus, the LTE-A terminal has better use feeling.
