Abstract

The invention relates to an LED (Light Emitting Diode) illumination device comprising a light source substrate, a plurality of LED light sources, a light guide plate and a lampshade. The plurality of LED light sources are fixed on the light source substrate; the light guide plate is arranged inside the lampshade; a light-incident surface is formed at one end of the light guide plate and is arranged opposite to the LED light source; the light guide plate comprises two lateral surfaces both of which are reflection surfaces and respectively form a first curved surface and a second curved surface; and a plurality of projected or recessed dimming grains are arranged on at least one lateral surface of the light guide plate. Emergent lights of the LED light source entering from the light-incident surface are reflected and transmitted between two lateral surfaces of the light guide plate and are irradiated on the dimming grains to generate diffusion for light emergence; light beams emitting from the lateral surface of the light guide plate are irradiated on the inner surface of the lampshade and are finally emitted to outside through the lampshade. The invention can obtain even emergent lights through the light guide plate, improves the direct glaring effect of the LED light source and ensures that the LED illumination device has favorable irradiation angle.
