Embodiment 1

[0014] The method for utilizing grafting provided by the present invention to improve the yield and quality of cut chrysanthemum cuttings is implemented as follows:

[0015] 1. Preparation of rootstock: Collect Artemisia annua ( Artemisia scoparia ) seeds, from December to January of the next year, sow and cultivate rootstocks in plug trays or seedling trays; from February to March of the next year, when the seedlings have 3-4 leaves, they are planted in nutrient pots.

[0016] 2. Preparation of the scion: During the flowering period of October-November the year before grafting, select cut-flower chrysanthemum plants with strong growth, no pests and diseases, and bright colors. -Picking 1-2 times in 3 months.

[0017] 3. Grafting and management: From March to April of the following year, choose Artemisia annua rootstocks with strong growth, consistent growth, about 20cm in height, and about 3mm in thickness at the base of the stem, and use the top tip of the cut chrysanthemu...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for improving the yield and quality of a dendranthema morifolium cutting by utilizing grafting, belonging to the technical field of floriculture production. The method comprises the following steps: preparing a rootstock; preparing a scion; grafting and managing; and collecting the cutting. Compared with the currently adopted method in which a cutting seedling is utilized as a scion mother tree, the method provided by the invention has the advantages that the grafting seedling is utilized as the scion mother tree, the growth is vigorous, and the high-yield high-quality cutting can be obtained. In each scion batch, compared with cutting seedlings, cutting yield, average length, average node number, average thickness, average fresh weight and average dry weight of the artemisia scoparia grafting seedling are improved. Furthermore, the cut rooting capability of cutting is improved, the earliest rooting days, the number of adventitious roots, the root length, the root thickness, the root system dry weight and other indexes of cutting rooted seedling are higher than those of the cutting seedling.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of production of flower seedlings, and in particular relates to a method for improving the yield and quality of cut chrysanthemum cuttings by grafting. chemical production. technical background [0002] chrysanthemum( Dendranthema × grandiflora Tzvel.) is a perennial herb of the genus Chrysanthemum in the family Asteraceae. Cut chrysanthemum is one of the four major cut flowers in the world. Its production and sales of cut flowers rank second in the world, and it occupies an extremely important position in the flower industry. Cuttings have a high propagation coefficient and can maintain the excellent traits of the species, and have become the most important propagation method for the large-scale production of cut chrysanthemums. However, the cutting quality and yield of chrysanthemum ear-picking mother plants are easy to decline after repeated ear picking, and the mother plants need to be re-cultivated, ...
