Abstract

The invention discloses a roof greening medium for improving runoff water quality and a preparation method. The medium comprises the following components by weight fraction: 20-30 of peat soil, 10-15 of perlite, 30-40 of coarse fiber humus, 15-20 of haydite and 5-10 of attapulgus clay, and can also comprise an insecticide, an antimicrobial agent and a fertility controlled-release agent. The preparation method comprises the steps of: mixing peat soil, perlite, coarse fiber humus, haydite and attapulgus clay according to the ratio, stirring uniformly, uniformly mixing the insecticide, the antimicrobial agent and the fertility controlled-release agent with the medium, uniformly spreading the medium in a roof greening planting area, and planting roof greening plants. By the use of the medium disclosed by the invention, the runoff water quality can be effectively improved, the removal rate of organic pollutants is 15-35%, and the removal rate of nutrient substances is 10-15%; and at the same time, the medium is lighter, does not exceed 780kg / m<3>, and does not exceed 1300kg / m<3> in a water saturation state, thereby being capable of meeting the condition of generally lower roof load of simple roof greening buildings.
