This invention belongs to the field of ecological restoration and
forest management technology in
arid and barren mountainous areas, specifically involving a method for establishing inter-forest ecological grasslands to enhance
biodiversity. This invention adopts a "forest edge priority, no-till
sowing, and native mixed
sowing" approach, constructing stable ecological
grassland belts at forest edges through no-till
sowing. This method effectively enriches the herbaceous layer
vegetation of forest land, increases
species diversity and
aboveground biomass, and enhances the stability and resistance to disturbance of forest ecosystems. Simultaneously, continuous forest edge
grassland belts can cover bare ground, curb soil
erosion, and promote multi-level, multi-functional, and stable succession of forest ecosystems. This invention is simple to construct, causes minimal disturbance to the surface soil, and is suitable for complex sites with shallow soil
layers and high gravel content. The native herbs used are highly resilient, have low management costs, and
pose no risk of invasion, making them suitable for promotion in
arid and semi-
arid artificial forest areas in northern China, demonstrating significant ecological and application value.
