The application discloses an
earthworm manure compound substrate for improving tomato yield and quality and a planting method, and comprises the following steps: a substrate is prepared from the following components in percentage by volume: soil 10-50%,
earthworm manure 40-80% and
vermiculite 10%; and 0.05-0.1% of
nitrogen fertilizer and live earthworms in the total
mass of the substrate; the
nitrogen fertilizer is added to the substrate as a
seedling raising substrate, the
water content of the
seedling raising substrate is adjusted, the
seedling raising substrate is loaded into a plug tray, tomato seeds are sowed, and seedling raising is carried out by controlling the
environmental temperature; after the seedlings reach a planting standard, the seedlings are transplanted into a planting bag filled with the seedling raising substrate for planting; after the planting and seedling
recovery are completed, the live earthworms are inoculated into the seedling raising substrate in the planting bag to obtain a compound substrate; the
water content of the compound substrate is controlled during the whole growth period of the tomatoes; the tomatoes are subjected to hanging,
pruning,
branch beating and leaf picking treatments; and the tomatoes are harvested after the fruits are matured. The application realizes the best balance between high yield and high quality of the tomatoes.
