The invention relates to an
earthworm screening device for mine
soil remediation. The
earthworm screening device comprises a primary separation
assembly, a blanking bin, a collecting bin, a vertical partition plate, a
light source, a transverse partition plate, non-
woven fabric, holes and air holes. Young earthworms and most of wormcast are screened out through the primary separation
assembly, adult earthworms fall into the falling bin through a discharging port of the primary separation
assembly, and due to the fact that the earthworms have the negative
phototaxis of avoiding light rays and the touch property of the earthworms like drilling in holes, the earthworms in the falling bin try to find a dark and shelter, and the earthworms in the falling bin are prevented from being damaged. The earthworms can rapidly penetrate through the non-
woven fabric and the holes through the wet non-
woven fabric under the attraction of the bait, and in the penetrating process, wormcast on the bodies is scraped off by the wet non-woven fabric and finally reaches the clean collecting bin to be collected, so that the
screening effect of the earthworms is improved, and the situation that the wormcast attached to the bodies of the earthworms introduces a new
pollution source into a remediation site is avoided; further, the remediation effect of the earthworms on the mine soil is improved.
