The invention provides low-smoke-density PC (polycarbonate) / ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) alloy which is prepared by following raw materials, by weight, 30-80 parts of PC resin, 20-70 parts of ABS resin, 1-5 parts of nano-hydrotalcite, 0.1-1 part of antioxidant and 0.1-1 part of lubricant. The invention further provides a preparation method for the low-smoke-density PC / ABS alloy. The method is characterized in that the nano-hydrotalcite is added during preparation of PC / ABS alloy material, so that structural hydrated laminate hydroxy which is a component of the nano-hydrotalcite and interlayer ions can be removed in the form of water and carbon dioxide when the prepared PC / ABS alloy material is combusted when heated, and effects of flame retardancy and smoke inhibition are realized. The smoke density grade is remarkably lowered and smaller than 75 and meets national standards, and the preparation method for the low-smoke-density PC / ABS is simple and wide in application prospect in automobile interior material aspect.
