Abstract

The invention provides a serial number based multi-queue order-preserving method. An outlet counter and an inlet counter are respectively arranged at the outlet and the inlet of a queue I. The inlet counter pluses one after receiving a pack and the outlet counter pluses one after receiving a pack. A message pack entering into queue II carries a count value of the inlet counter of the queue I entering the queue II as a serial number; when the message pack entering into the queue II is to dequeue, the carried serial number is compared with the current value of the inlet counter of the queue I and that of the outlet counter to judge whether the message pack is to dequeue or not. The message pack to dequeue is to dequeue when message packs entering into the queue I before the message pack to dequeue are sent completely according to the serial number carried by the message pack to dequeue and the current values of the inlet and outlet counters of the queue I.
