Abstract

The invention provides a fingerprint acquisition system. An ARM9 processor S3C2410 serves as a core microcontroller of the system and is in charge of acquisition, processing and storage of fingerprint images, and communication with an upper computer. Except the core microcontroller, the system further comprises a fingerprint data acquisition module, a data storage module, a power module, an RS232 serial port communication and joint test action group (JTAG) load debugging module, and a crystal oscillator and reset module which is needed by a minimum system. The system effectively improves reliability, and reduces cost.
