[0020] A kind of low computing complexity of the present invention reduces the OFDM signal peak-to-average ratio SLM method principle as follows: N=4 n The radix-4IFFT operation of the point is divided into the radix-4IFFT of the first k levels and n-k levels; the signal sequence is multiplied by the phase factor after the first k levels of the radix-4IFFT, so that each signal shares the k-level radix-4IFFT, thereby reducing the system The amount of calculation is to superimpose the phase sequence on the signal sequence after radix-4IFFT, omitting the separate transmission of sideband information.

Abstract

The invention discloses an SLM (Selected Mapping) method for reducing the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of an OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) signal in low computational complexity. The problem that the current OFDM system signal is high in PAPR is solved. Under the condition that the traditional SLM computation method is kept and the PAPR performance is reduced, the computational complexity is greatly reduced by a graded based-4IFFT (Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) improved SLM computation method; and a phase sequence is superposed on a signal sequence after the improvement by based-4IFFT, so that the step of single transmission of sideband information is eliminated. Theoretic analysis shows that compared with the traditional SLM computation method, the method has the advantages that the IFFT complexity can be reduced by nearly 60 percent maximally and the performance of the OFDM system is improved. The method is easy to realize and can be applied to various communication systems which adopt OFDM to modulate.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of improving OFDM signals in an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) mobile communication system, in particular to an SLM method for reducing the peak-to-average ratio of OFDM signals with low computational complexity. Background technique [0002] Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology has become one of the core technologies of the fourth-generation mobile communication system due to its high-efficiency spectrum utilization, good anti-multipath fading performance, and large system capacity. However, since the OFDM signal is superimposed by multiple orthogonal subcarrier signals in the time domain, its signal has a high peak-to-average power ratio (Peak-to-Average Power Ratio, PAPR). The high power amplifier of the transmitter in the mobile communication system is required to have high linearity, otherwise nonlinear distortion will be generated, and the harmonics generated ...
