[0058] In order to make the technical problems, technical solutions and beneficial effects to be solved by the present invention clearer and clearer, the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described here are only used to explain the present invention, not to limit the present invention.

[0059] Such as figure 1 Shown is a flow chart of an HEVC intra-frame encoding method based on texture direction provided by an embodiment of the present invention, and the method includes:

[0060] S101. Divide each frame of image into the largest CU, and set its depth value to 0;

[0061] Preferably, each frame of image is divided into the largest non-overlapping CU, whose size is 64x64, and whose depth is defined as 0.

Abstract

The invention discloses a high efficiency video coding (HEVC) intraframe coding method, device and system based on a texture direction. The method comprises the steps of segmenting every frame of image into maximum coding units (CUs), enabling depth values of the maximum CUs to be set as 0; obtaining a depth value of a current CU; when the depth value is smaller than a depth threshold, calculating texture direction signs of the current CU, judging whether a texture type of the current CU is flat or directional, and if the texture type of the current CU is not flat or directional, segmenting the current CU, and adding 1 to the depth value of the current CU; when the depth value reaches the depth threshold, calculating texture direction signs of a prediction unit (PU); selecting a candidate mode set of prediction modes according to the texture direction signs of the CU and/or the PU, and determining an optimum prediction mode from the candidate mode set to perform coding. According to the HEVC intraframe coding method, device and system based on the texture direction, CU layer block segmentation optimization and PU layer prediction mode optimization are performed through texture direction signs of coding blocks, and accordingly coding complexity and coding time are greatly reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of video coding and decoding, and in particular to a texture direction-based HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding, high-efficiency video coding) intra-frame coding method, device and system. Background technique [0002] HEVC is a new generation of video compression standard formulated by the International Standards Organization ISO / IEC and ITU-T. Its core goal is to double the compression efficiency on the basis of H.264 / AVC, that is, to ensure the same video image quality. Under the premise, the bit rate of the video stream is reduced by 50%. [0003] HEVC inherits the classic block-based hybrid coding model since H.261. In order to compress high-resolution video more effectively, HEVC proposes three more flexible video content representation units, including: CU (coding unit, coding unit), PU (prediction unit, prediction unit) and TU ( transform unit, transform unit). CU is similar to the concept...
