The invention further provides an indoor unit of the air conditioner, which comprises a housing, an air channel formed in the housing, and the independent air supply component for the air conditioner, wherein the independent air supply component is mounted in the air channel of the housing and used for changing an air outlet direction, and the air outlet direction of the independent air supply component for the air conditioner relative to the air channel can be rotated. Relative positions of the air wheel component and the outer frame of the independent air supply component are not changed, and the air outlet direction of the independent air supply component serving as a whole relative to the air channel can be rotated, so that the air outlet direction of the air channel is changed effectively, and the wide-angle and centralized air supply is achieved.
