Abstract

The method includes the steps: scrambling an original image by the aid of Arnold conversion; dividing the scrambled image into 8*8 sub-regions; sequentially converting 64 sub-regions by a Patchwork digital watermark method to change the original image into a normally displayed carrier image. In order to obtain more storage space, the original image is divided into the 8*8 sub-regions, a watermark is embedded into each sub-region by the Patchwork digital watermark method, and concealable watermark information is increased. In order to add a tampering detection function to the Patchwork digital watermark method, pixel pairs are randomly distributed to regions of the image, more watermark information can be stored, and a certain tampering detection function is achieved.
