Abstract

The invention provides a file management system for mobile equipment. The file management system comprises a front-end management unit, a file conversion server, a file management server, wherein the front-end management unit is configured to upload a file to a file server and record information relative to the uploaded file into a database; the file conversion server is configured to acquire the uploaded file from the file server, perform format conversion on the acquired file, and upload the converted file to the file server; and the file management server is configured to change the information which is relative to the uploaded file and stored in the database, and send a message for file uploading to the mobile equipment. The invention further provides a file management method for the mobile equipment. With the adoption of the file management system and method, unified management of the mobile equipment files and conversion of various file formats can be achieved, and the file conversion efficiency is improved.
