Problems solved by technology

However, in this system, the size of one of the detectors is small, resulting in insufficient field of view (FOV) for CT image reconstruction when scanning large volume objects
In addition, this kind of dual-energy CT has higher requirements for positioning during scanning, which increases the difficulty of scanning.

Embodiment Construction

[0030] The method for generating a dual-energy X-ray CT image from a single-source single-scan X-ray CT image of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to embodiments and drawings.

[0031] The method for generating a dual-energy X-ray CT image from a single-source single-scan X-ray CT image of the present invention uses a bilinear conversion algorithm to convert a CT image of a certain energy into a CT image of another energy. Dual-energy CT images are obtained using dual-energy subtraction technology for two energy CT images.

[0032] The method for generating a dual-energy X-ray CT image from a single-source single-scan X-ray CT image of the present invention comprises the following steps:

[0033] 1) For an object with energy E 1 A single scan is performed under the X-ray of the object, and the energy of the object is E 1 CT image under X-ray;

[0034] 2) Use the bilinear transformation algorithm to transform the object obtained in step 1...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for generating a dual-energy X-ray CT image by unisource one-time scanning of an X-ray CT image. The method includes the steps that one-time scanning is conducted on an object under the X-ray with energy being E1, and a CT image of the object under the X-ray with the energy being E1 is obtained; a dual-linear conversion algorithm is used for converting an obtained CT number of the CT image of the object scanned under the X-ray with the energy being E1 into a linear attenuation coefficient of the object under the X-ray with energy being E2; a CT number definition formula is used for converting the obtained linear attenuation coefficient into a CT number under the X-ray with the energy being E2, and thus a CT image under the X-ray with the energy being E2 is obtained; the CT image under the X-ray with the energy being E1 and the CT image under the X-ray with the energy being E2 respectively generate a digital reconstruction image; a logarithm dual-energy subtraction algorithm is used in the generated digital reconstruction images in a combined mode, needed weight factors are selected, and the image for eliminating needless matter is obtained. According to the method, the dual-energy CT image can be obtained only by unisource one-time scanning.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for generating dual-energy X-ray CT images. In particular, it relates to a method for generating dual-energy X-ray CT (hereinafter referred to as dual-energy CT) images from single-source single-scan X-ray CT images. Background technique [0002] Dual-energy CT was first proposed by Alvarez and Macovski in 1976, and has achieved good results in material removal, contrast dose quantification, and tissue material property resolution. [0003] "First performance evaluation of a dual-source CT (DSCT) system" published in "European Radiology" in 2006 and "Dual energy CT: preliminary observations and potential clinical applications in the abdomen" published in 2009 on the existing dual-energy CT Image quality was evaluated. Dual-energy CT uses a system equipped with dual tubes and dual detectors to perform two energy scans, and obtains the desired image through dual-energy image processing. But in this system, the size of...
